19 Secrets To My 20 Years Relationship Happiness

I’m very happy to write this post on the day I celebrate my marriage to my husband on its’ 19th year. Sadly he isn’t by my side today. I’m celebrating in London with our 4 kids and he’s enjoying our proposed sushi dinner at what is our lunch hour.

I still cannot believe I’ve been with him for this long! Like seriously! I feel like he’s my party of life mate and we’ve only just begun. Of course, we’ve been together long, evidenced by our 18-year-old daughter.

Every time I look at our daughter, I had to blink a few times to believe this young lady is now officially an adult! And yet, she has 2 parents who still feel like a youth themselves!

I have decided to share my relationship ‘secrets’ or tips after 20 years of having fun with each other. Not only have we been asked many times what the secret is to our relationship, but also how we stay sane as parents of four.

I’m so lucky to also pick up lots of valuable lessons from various members of my “International Mixed Marriages’ group on Facebook. Many of whom are married for more than 30 or 40 years themselves. I have interviewed a few of them even for my “The Architect of Love” book (available on Amazon).

Also having worked with many singletons, many seems to think that soulmates don’t exist! And that there are some relationship secrets they haven’t been able to crack they think. The truth is, keeping a relationship alive and kicking takes more than just love. It’s hard work but the secrets are easy secrets. 😉
